Just cleaned the UIM on my brothers car. While I was in town doing other errands he put new plugs and wires in. Upon arriving back at the car he told me that he hadn't gapped the plugs according to the How-To. The plugs are OEM as suggested in other threads as a the wires. After re-assembling the engine and him taking it for a test drive, he limped home with a bit of smoke coming from the engine bay and the temperature gauge read high his remark was the engine was missing.
We searched the engine for hoses and sensors left unattached but found none. Is the problem most likely a result of not gapping the plugs as I suspect. Please help!
