good luck getting watson to do much of anything anymore...and Doug will ues stailness if you want but it is not TIG welded so the welds will still rust. Stainless is a waste of cash on a Contour to begin with....the al. pipe will outlast the car most likely....I had Al. pipe on mine and it was fine...he paints every weld with some special stuff....

Dougs has that aluminized pipe and mine still looks good. The parts needed for true duals are:

-2 flex pipes
-X-pipe
-2 resonaters
-2 mufflers

I got all my parts from Stazi and it cost me $525.00 at the time, so the price could vary now. This may sound like alot and it is, but could've cost alot more. For example the X-pipe was supposed to cost me $150.00, my cost from Stazi, $70.00 , but the price now could've changed, contact Stazi and see what he can do for you. You'll also need MIL eliminators and that too Stazi can get for you, but I bought mine from Dallas Mustang and they're all ready to go with male/female connections. Those cost me $70.00. In total I have about $950.00 tied up in the exhaust system and it really sounds good

Just called up Doug's today and asked about the true duals, can't complain about the price . Told me they used smooth bends, not as good as mandrel but not as bad as crushed. Anyone heard of these?

As far as I know the bends that Dougs uses are pretty much a crush bend. If you want to buy your own mandrel bends from JC Whitney Doug can use those for your exhaust system.

that is what i did, but he did have to tweak a few of the bends to make them fit properly, but no harm to the bends themselves. the more material you bring with you for him to use the cheaper the install will be. i also had a 7 foot long piece of 2.5" tubing for him to use as well as the bends. this was over a year and a half ago....

I can't believe this--my family lives a couple of miles up the road from Doug's. I'll definately have to stop by to see them again soon--of course while I'm there it would hurt to bring my car over to have some work done on my car. I've been thinking of having my exhaust upgraded, although duals would be a waste on my Zetec--I would like a new muffler and resonator (magnaflow?) and 2.25 inch piping from the cat back.
