does the motor heat up after it starts up and then the bearings heat up and slow it down and then the fuse blows?? to find out you can put an amprobe meter on one of the wire leads(you just put the snap on front clamp over one wire) and watch how many amps are pulled through the wire.....
if the motor is suppose to be pulling x number of amps and it pulls x+ amps then that is whats blowing the fuse......
harbor freight and places like that sell the cheap amp meters that you clip onto the wire for about $10.00.. i got a good one i bought at a flea market for $6.00, kinda beat up but works great(Amprobe Jr.)......
