Granted the Contour isn't a fast car from the factory.
Its a heavier, non turbo car, 4 door.
Comparing the SRT-4 and Contour is stupid,
Two different categories of cars.
Its like comparing the SRT-4 to a Cobra.
For a fairer comparison,
Compare the SRT-4 to a Focus.
Closer in weight.
Then slap a basic turbo setup on a the Focus and guess what,
they run similiar times.
I'm not hating on the SRT-4, infact, I like the fact an American car is doing so well in the sport compact market.
