They were made different for a while. Though you could plug that hole and use a breather.

if u have a 98+ (i think) you don't have that hole in the CTA intake for the tube to connect

I have one of those filters but nothing to fill that hole up with

Ill have pics up of mine this weekend. Valve cover mod and cam gears. Well this is on my focus, buts its my contours valve cover!


01 Focus MTX JRSC, 2.6 pully, and so on.......

It's fine to not have the top cover on.

I see that hector doesn't have his hole covered, does that make less air get into the engine, and does it make a difference if I used a breather w/ a covered hole or the regular tube connected

My hole on the intake is plugged.
