Even though the picture seems to soften to effect, you should be able to see the problem.
PS Chris, do you guys have replacement parts for the rubber hose sections? I managed to tear my blue one between the CTA and the TB when I was moving things around just now 
The transition appears to be marginal (the thickness of the pipe). What I mean to say is that if you feel that it is going to be an issue, then one item you may consider is to radius the inside of inlet of the intake pipe to create a smoother transition.
