I talked to the guy at FORD. He said it was enough to cause it. Hey took everything off the old head. . . ordered a new head and are going to put everything back on the new head. He did not say anything about replacing the camshaft. Does anyone think that it was damaged also. I know mrspindlelegs eluded to that. I am so glad they are replacing the head an not trying to resurface it. I still don't get the gasket surface flatness spec. I am in I.T. not engineering
