do you guys have any trouble with buzzing and vibration in the trunk?
i only have one 12" and when i turn it up even sorta loud on a song with bass and i get buzzing. mostly, it's on the rear deck...that fuzzy flat surface where your brake light sits, you know?
how can i get rid of the buzzing in the rear of the car?

Alot of the rear deck buzzing is from all the wireing on the rear deck. they aren't well secured and rattle against the deck. Go to the crafts section in Wal-Mart and buy a sheet of 1 inch foam and place it between the carpeted piece and the metal frame. This should keep the wires from moving freely
Another trouble spot is the 3rd brakelight. The red prism rattles inside the fixture. I took the whole thing out and siliconed it in so it can't move
The trunklid itself also rattles, take the shroud off the trunk sill and look at the latch. It can slide up and down if you loosen the torx screws. Move it down a tiny bit. Now the trunk shuts tight.
You should go through the whole car looking for loose wires and tape them down. The only rattles I have left are from the seatbelt reels, but I refuse to tamper with those (don't feel like getting friendly with Mr. Windshield when the time comes)

I have a single 10" Pioneer Premier sub in a Subzone sealed enclosure--the thing plays loud and clear and (so far) I havn't had any problems with rattles.
By the way, the Subzone enclosure is very nice and fits great up against the back of the rear seat (inside the trunk, of course, and facing outward).

Someone else (maybe louisw) has the subzone box and was very impressed with it! If your car isn't rattling now, it will be int he future!

I have two 12's and my rear deck rattles badly. I think I will try the foam thing that Honkeytonk mentioned. I have noticed that the 98 third brake light is different then the 99. The 99 is a lot less prone to the rattles that the 98 had.
