I called my local Ford dealer last week to get pricing. He quoted $220.00 to do one side, $334.00 to do both (just the fronts). Asked him about alignment, he said not needed unless car had been aligned while the bearing was worn. Asked about parts needed, he said just the bearings and new bearing retaining nuts, unless hub was damaged. Called local aftermarket parts store (Carquest), they quoted list price of $70.00 per bearing, their selling price is $40.00, and they would press the bearing in for free if I could bring in the hub. I trust this dealership, and think his prices are fair for a dealership.

according to Goodyear auto service, an alignment is NOT required when replacing a bearing.
