I did my wheel bearings for 32 dollars each. I made a 30 ton press from I beams. The only other cost was for a 30 ton bottle jack for 20 dollars. You can try harbor freight, they got a 6 ton press for 70 dollars. As for the wheel alignment, it is not required because according to the ford service manual, the caster and camber is not adjustable. When you remove the strut from the knucle, there is no adjustments between the strut and the knuckle. As long as you do not touch the adjustments of you tie rod you will be fine without a wheel alignmnet.
