If you do talk to an attorney make sure you tell them that you are interested in finding out if you have a case, and are looking for a free consult. cstraw is right, sometimes you'll pay much more than you'd spend just to have it fixed, but if you do it right you should have no attorney fees for just finding out. And if you've documented everything you may be able to win in small claims court, but if you're not prepared, you'll get hammered, because Midas will be prepared, even to the point of lying, but if you can't prove they're lying you'll be the liar. Every major city has attorneys that donate their time to the community, if nothing else just for questions like yours. Take some time and find out, make your game plan and go forward. That's the best advice you can get anywhere.
