Alright fenderman, sorry to flame you, and yes some of my comments were un-called for. Let me re-state what I was trying to say in a nicer way:
I really feel that v6 mustangs and camaros are just "pretend" sporty cars. Isnt the whole point of modern mustangs and camaros thier power and performance? They ceratinly can't compare to other modern "sporty" cars in terms of economy, interior design/layout and use of space, or handling/chassis dynamics. Isnt buying one without the v8 power and sound totally pointless? (I suppose a case could be made for convertibles since there really arent many other affordible convertibles available)
Thats my opinion, I know others here agree, and no I don't think you're less of a person for buying a v6 camaro.
As far as handling goes, I am once again, talking about good steering feel and a tight, responsive chassis. You don't need to drive at ridiculous speeds to enjoy those attributes in your car.
And for the person who started this thread: I think you'll have much more fun with a v6 MTX contour than a v6 mustang.
