I did the same thing about 2 months ago and i havnt had ANY moisture in the headlights and i been thru 2 major storms and one hurricane (Isabel). Plus i washed down my engine once, meaning i had the hose pointing right at the engine and washing some of the dirt right off of it. Even after ALL of that i havnt had a single drop get in it.

Try cutting your lense off, resealing it and keep moisture out then That's part of the process of doing the mod in this thread......or last I checked it was

Ok thanks again Swazo, here's my sanded chrome. It was so easy! Well except near the remaining chrome I'm leaving. Now need a RH headlight and paint.
