I think I understand your plan. Do you plan on cutting out the rear deck to allow the speakers to fire into the cabin? What is your budget?
I'm just going to cut the holes necessary for the speakers (and ports if used) to have just a barrier of the rear deck carpeting between them and the cabin.
I'm going to keep as much of the rear deck in tact as possible for rigidity (plus it's go to be able to hold the box/subs/amp.
I guess my budget is whatever I can sneak by my wife.
I've already got my amp and wiring. My eXcelon deck has been in the car since a week after I bought it almost 2 years ago.
Anyways, I'm planning on spending less than $100 on subs and maybe $50 for box building supplies.
