It looks like there will be a few of us heading to Silver Dollar this Friday evening for test and tune. So far just a small group of guys. Looks like my L, a CSVT (Skeeters_20) and a few SRT-4s (Tim & friends) for now. I realize this is very short notice and also very close to the TOTD run. Just throwing the idea out there and letting everyone know they are invited. The weather has been a lot better for 1/4 times lately with lows in the low 70s to mid 60s at night. I went down to the track last Friday and there were about 75 cars and a bunch of bikes running. So it should be a good time. If anyone wants to come down and needs directions or anything else, dont hesitate to contact me. Hope to see some of you there.

Hmmm, Saturday should be ok. Its a little bit more expensive though. They also have some sort of event that night, see http://www.silverdollarraceway.com/schedule/RaceSchedule2002.htm I guess we can still run? Sure you cant make it on Friday? If not, Saturday then.

no, no event it's just grudge racing, meaning you just run all day long, gates open at 3. It's soooo much less crowded on saturday. Last time I went on saturday and there were only about 30 cars. Massive amounts of runs could be had.

I guess if we run on Saturday. We can go earlier in the day. And get more runs in. And also Friday is now free to maybe go to Athens and listen to Chuck play.
Have to think about it and decide if I wanna drive up to Athens, then to Reynolds back to back.

How about I drive Friday to Athens. And we tie a rope from my car to your Lightning, and you tow me Saturday to the track.

That sounds good to me. I'll give ya $3 for gas.
