With a 2-way, you most likely will have two prongs: + and -. A 3-way like stated above is + and + and -. If you connect two positives on a two way, you will definately regret it, trust me! Just take the 2-way switch, and hook up the door-open positive spliced in after the switch. This way no matter what it will turn on with doors, and u can switch on and off whenever u want it on regardless of doors. I say its just easiest that way.
