I was bumming around the toy section at Kohl's last night with my kids and came across a Hot Wheels accessory pack -- it is the McDonald's drive-thru that goes with the Hot Wheels City set or whatever it's called, and it comes with a purple car enclosed. Now, without tearing open the packaging right there in the store to verify it, I have to say it certainly looked like a Contour -- same general lines, and the headlights looked like those of a '95-'97 model. Couldn't see the taillight shapes through the packaging. $5.99 if any of you buy one and find out for sure!

Here's a bad picture of it:

That came off an eBay auction and the description doesn't tell anything more about the car. I can't find anything about it on the Hot Wheels site.

What's the link to that auction? Kind of looks like a Gen I Aurora. Bad pic though.

As far as R/C goes you can get a mondeo body at any RC shop or have them order one for you and fit it on most 1/10 cars.

I'm pretty sure it's not an Aurora ... the rear end is longer than it appears in the picture ... look real close and you can see it doesn't end right behind the C-pillar like an Aurora. Also, the A-pillar/windshield is not as sloped back as it looks here (I think that's distortion through the plastic).

There used to be an SVT Contour body available, but it has been discontinued...go figure

The Mondeo BTCC car is the only one available now.
