Well, I left my lights on yesterday and my battery was obviously dead today. So I went to open my door manually with my key and none of my key holes will work. So I had to go through my trunk after a AAA guy broke into it and popped the trunk. Its started now and works fine. The keyless entry works all the time, since thats what I was using before. But I tried the key holes again (both front doors and the trunk) and none of them work. The key goes in but doesn't turn. I'm thinking someone squirted glue into them, or broke them somehow when my car was broken into last week. I stil can't remember if I locked it or not that night. Anyways....anybody have an idea how much it would cost to get all three of my locks replaced? I need to get it done quickly so I can get into my car if this happens again, or if my keyless entry remote dies on me. Thanks everyone.

Brian

Also....anyone know how to rewire the headlights so they can only be turned on when the cars running and automatically shut off when the car is turned off?

I have the same problem with my trunk. The key will go in but it will never turn to actually open. I however can open both of my front doors without problem.
Does any one know what the problem is. It was working one day and the next ot was broke. I don't assume it to be high priority since I can still release it rom inside the car.

My trunk lock cylinder was seriously crapped up. I pulled it and cleaned the heck out of it. One of the tumblers still won't slide smoothly so it still doesn't work, but I fixed my keyless remote for the trunk so I stopped caring.

Before you go through the hassle of replacing the locks, pull each one out, one at a time, and try cleaning them thoroughly and lubing them with graphite lock lube. It may do the trick.

This post reminded me of a question that I've been meaning to post since I bought my car...If you have power locks in a contique, and your battery dies, are you locked out for good?
