I have one of the older 10" powered Bazookas. I'm a little disappointed with the lack of power, but i got it at a very good price and the sound quality is also very good. Currently I have it firing into the right-rear taillight assembly and I pull the left rear passenger seat down.

Has anyone experimented with positioning a tube and maybe found a better position than this? If so, please let me know.

Thanks,

I have mine tucked behind the right passenger seat, firing towards the left passenger seat. This is with a 10" Bazooka and 200watt Sony Amp. The seats are always closed and sound is good.

What is so bad about Bazookas that they should be trashed? They are quite a good sounding speaker for taking up as little space as the do. Not to mention they are one of the few speakers on the market that come self powered. For someone who isn't an audiophile, they are easy to install and the sound is way better than stock. The price is decent too. I think they are decent.

its not that i don't like bazookas it just that i don't like bass tubes ,if you are going to get a bass tube then bazooka is the best way to go,but i just don't like the sound of bass tubes, sorry if i upset anyone.
bazooka dose make some sweet ass stuff, like the new amps with the liquid cooling system, I'm thinking of getting one of those when i get my tour.

Personally, I think you should keep the wire long enough to put it in the back seat when driving w/o passengers in the back. Run the wires between the split in the seats and close them(not all the way, cause i'm sure you want to put it back in the trunk when you park it). If you want to keep it in the trunk though, make sure it is secure so you don't have it rolling all over the place! Picture this...if - comes loose and touches the + and your patch cables are still connected, you will be in some serious sh*t, because it will most likely fry the amp in your head unit and all you will have is sound via amplifiers connected to the rca plugs. I've seen it happen!
