Replacing the water pump is slightly easy. This really depends on how willing you are to jump into it.
I'll put it this way, changing out a water pump on a V6 is alot easier than an I4, on these cars. Get a Haynes manual and see for yourself.
Keep this in mind though..... If you buy a metal impellar water pump, you are increasing the weight of the impellar. The OEM water pump is leaned more towards performance, even though plastic is less durable, and is will not create more weight for the accessory belt to have to take on. The OEM pump is more affordable as well.
