Why would it break in the first place unless it was a cheap shifter?

And why would you want that cheap POS on your car if you knew it could break? What are the advantages? What if it broke in the middle of a race? Then that would prove that having a 'better' shifter wouldn't make your car any faster. And if it broke in the middle of a race for money, then that would prove that it wasn't an investment for you.

For this reason, I'd honestly recommend going back to stock one. You could probably modify it to gain better feel if that's what you want
