When I had my t/a, I used Nitto drag radials, but I did hear the BFG are better. Discount tires up here matches internet prices, so that's what I did for the Nitto's. They are way cheaper on the net. Just my .02

BFGs are better than nittos traction wise, but BFGs really arent good for everyday use and if you are lucky will last 5k miles, while the nittos you can pretty much drive around on on the street and will last at least twice as long.

warmonger- I hate you. I am getting ready to slap a ProCharger on my GT and pray I beat your MPH. Your car is just stupid. In a good way. Seriously though, good job on your success with this car.

Thanks! I hope that pro-charger lives up to their reputation. At least you're already starting with a motor that has low end power and the procharger can push the top end up for you.

Didn't you have a S/C on your car in the past? I thought you had the fastest CSVT there for a while.

Weight: I haven't weighed the car though I keep meaning to. If the truth be known, my car is a pig!! I put tons of sound deadening material throughout the car, heavy stereo speakers and amps, and I kept the spare tire and jack in the car for this run. Oh yeah, half tank of gas may help a little.
I'm guessing it weighs in around 3150 without the driver, maybe 3200.

war....

I don't know if it was the fastest. It ran 14.2 @ 101 MPH. Blown motor forced me to sell. Now she is just stock.

Yeah it's nice toying with a V8. The low end torque is just sick. 100 shot it went 334 RWHP and 412 RWTQ.

Wish you the best in the future of your beast.

With your low end torque I'd be leaving off idle or just above, not 3000 RPM clutch drops. Also, try short shifting to second gear to grunt it and slow the wheel spin down. I'll bet you drop a couple of tenths just from that. Nice trap speed though!!!

Since everyone says gutting the secondaries kills low RPM power, I wonder if this would help you at all (If you havent already done that)? Why would you need them with a 3L and turbo anyways ...
