These are a few tracks from the Boston Acoustics Test CD:
Incubus-Stellar -deep bass with excellent range of vocals Cash Money Millionaires-Project ***** -phenomenal bass Big Tymers-#1 Stunna -more phenomenal bass R. Kelly-I Wish -bass almost bottoms out my Bose home system! Green Day-Minority -great guitar dynamic range
Also, look for sections in stores called "Bass". Pure bass music...Bass Outlaws, Bass Extreme, Stereo Bass. All killer. But Celine Dion's Falling Into You is a great test of the top end. Or just get some THX/Dolby Digital/DTS samples from Napster. Trust me, I love this kinda stuff. Email me with questions or if you'd like to grab them from me via Napster.

Luckily, they got those little light bulbs wired in series with the speakers for protection....

Seb Fontaine - Somebody Scream (very broad frequency range and quick volume switches)
Queensryche - Anybody Listening (powerful chords)
Anthrax - Bring the Noise (lots of bass, fast beats, and a great song)

One that sticks out that no one has mentioned is the Cardigans album Gran Turismo. It's very dynamic, with lots of sustained lows and highs along with solo female vocals. For bass, I have the Apollo 13 soundtrack (for dynamic bass) along with several trance/rave mixes (for bass tones).

I use Cypress Hill High Life from the Skull and bones CD, really deep bass and great highs, or David Bowie Little Wonder from the earthling album for those who dont like rap that much.. little wonder has really deep bass.

DAVE MATTHEWS BAND "CRASH" - Amazing clarity and range, also REALLY tight bass, this CD sounds amazing in almost any system, one of the best recordings I've heard
