I agree. My stock wires lasted about 55k, and 7 years, and I replaced with FMS wires because they offered a (possible) slight performance gain over stock, and they were inexpensive. Then I started hearing about all these problems. I'll keep running the FMS, and keep my fingers crossed. At least I won't be surprised if they fail early.

Anyway, stock wires and Magnecores are about the same price, and the Magnecores consistently show gains of a couple of horsepower on most cars. They also have a great warranty. Next time, it's Magnecores for me.
