This is long so if you have trouble reading, here is the gist of it, Collective Soul

I like to use Collective Soul. They record very cleanly, so much, in fact, that I can turn my system to max with no distorting. Everything is just crisp. Also, they use a great variety of instruments (piano, violins, many different guitar types. Thier first CD (Hints, Allegations and Things Left Unsaid), although good, isn't as complex as thier later stuff. Thier 2nd (Collective Soul) really picked up. I still think overall, this was thier best Album. There are no bad songs on this CD. They started using other instruments like pianos. The third Album (Disciplined Breakdown) was recorded in a cabin on a computer while the band played downstairs, resulting in the dirtiest sound of CS's albums, but it still has some great tracks and sounds as clean as most CDs. The fourth CD is the cleanest sounding CD I've ever listened to. This was the mellowest CD CS released, and used alot of piano and violins. Thier latest CD (Dosage) has more bass than the others, and even has Elton John playing piano on one track, but this isn't one of thier better CDs in my opinion. So, as you can obviously tell, I'm a fan. You really should try thier CDs though. They aren't too heavy, but they don't ever get too mellow either. Tastes great! Less Filling! or, if you remember the chunky soup commercials, Fork! Spoon!... yeah... that will do... heh! heh!... the fools!... they won't even see it coming when the great pig bomb falls... Hello! I like stuff! Wanna see my stuff?... oh, wait, the doctors said I shouldn't go around showing my stuff to people anymore... they give me a poke of sleepy juice when I do that... I get them too...
