or owning four of them and seeing that they are all slightly different in some way.

that post and pre 98 are completely different cars, about the name and general theme are the same.

but they are good cars to work on and a good manual will help you do anything

That "graunch" as you describe it, sure sounds like a wheel bearing ready to go. At least that's what mine sounded like.
