Lately the tour has been running 1 to 2 'letters' hotter on the NORMAL temp guage. For years it ran in the N-O range, but is now consistently in the R-M+ area. I flushed the radiator this weekend with basically no changes on the operating temps. The WP was replaced at about 60K miles, and the tstat is original. Has anyone had experience with a deteriorating tstat or maybe a flakey temp sensor or maybe the sending unit?

I have a Mustang that did the same thing after putting in a new 'stat. Turned out to be a bad one. I installed a new t-stat and now the car runs normal temp again.
