16 hours seems like a lot. I don't know if Duratec Contours are a lot different than Zetec Contours in tranny removal and installation, but I've removed the tranny from a Zetec contour, took it apaprt, replaced the differential, put it back together, and put it back in the car in about 8 hours. I don't see it taking an additional 8 hours to install the quaife.
