I know SVTs come this way, but I have heard it is still possible to put dual exhaust in my car as well. A few questions. Will Ford give me the parts or install it for me? The Contour SVT does not come with dual exhaust; it has what we call "qausi-duals". The exhaust manifolds are connected to a Y-pipe which proceeds to one catalytic converter. The exhausts exits the catalytic converter via one pipe. This pipe then splits into two pipes which connect to mufflers. You see two exhaust outputs but it's not a true dual system.

TrueBendz (formerly Yo Dude) was going to make a true dual exhaust system for V6 Contours but I don't know what happened to that plan. For now, you can only achieve dual exhaust through a custom setup. There will be no problems with your oxygen sensors/OBD-II system when changing the exhaust from the Y-pipe on back. When you start playing with the exhaust manifolds, problems will arise if you don't install MIL-Eliminators.
