Man this is the third post dealing with the MAF....funny...Alright, never dealt with the dpfe sensor, have dealt with the MAF. DON'T BUY ONE FROM FORD IF YOU CAN HELP IT. It is overpriced. Get one from your parts store and check the warranty. AutoZone had mine and it comes with like a 90 day or year warranty (so many parts, so many warranties---I know the alternators have lifetime ). Get it from there. Also, cleaning the MAF with Berryman's Chemtool wouldn't hurt. Replacing it is SIMPLE! I did mine in the parking lot at AutoZone so that I wouldn't have to worry with core charges. Just remember to disconnect the battery first. After that, then have the dealer work on the DPFE ONLY if someone doesn't chime in here and say "Oh yeah that was a piece of cake..."
