I never said I have never heard of any of those companies. I have seen a shiva driver and I think everyone knows Dayton. Partexpress is where you can get most test equiptment for woofers and they sell Dayton.

I admit I am not familiar with there models, but ask them if they have a dvc, should I use just one coil and will it hurt the woofer if I do. It wont kill your woofer today, but 3 months from now when you are posting "Hey my dvc woofer with one coil hooked up died today" maybe you will remember what I said...

Using one coil would be like running a mile while breathing through a straw. Can you do it, (I cant) but most likely YES, will you die sooner YES. It is possible, we agree there, but IT will shorten a woofers life. If anyone doubts it Contact their woofer maunfacture....I don't think you can argue their rsponse.
