For $90 extra it's a great thing to change when the trans is out of the car. IIRC, most clutch kits have the slave cylinder. Do you have a leak from the bottom of the bellhousing? Do you have any issues with the pedal not keeping pressure, where you may have to pump it to allow the trans to shift into the next gear?

I know when my slave cylinder was bad, I had to double, triple or quadruple clutch that filthy whore to get it past 2nd I knew my slave cylinder was way bad off!
