I just got coil overs that are adjustable off of ebay for a contour I e-mailed the seller and he said they would work on svts. they are a1 performance brand, they make springs for matrix and weapon r. I paid 175 shipped has anyone ever heard of these?
98.5 contour svt, flowmasters, main cat and resonator removed, b&m short shifter system with 1 15, tv and ps2 18" quantem tech s15's. indiglo guages, piller guage pod with indiglo guages. new headlights. coil overs on the way.lots of mods on the way.

a1 coilovers. never heard of them. there were some matrix coilovers i believe that most agreed didnt look too great.

Sounds a little risky, to me.  I've never heard of those before I would go with Ground Control.

Well since you'll be the only one in the Contour world installing them good luck!  Let me guys since you skimped on GC's you're going to skimp on Koni's as well. You'd think a person would do a lot of research before hacking suspension.

they're probably generic version of coilovers that aren't vehicle specific...im sure you'll need o-rings or something to make them fit.
if you just want em for looks I doubt they'd be that bad and probably wouldn't bother the average car enthusiast.
I want coilovers also but can't justify spending a G on my suspension. I wish there were alternatives...they need to bring the Roush/ST200 combo back or something similar

You use o-rings to put coil overs on???
And you can still get roush and st200 struts or svt struts, maybe a little used, but they're still available.

thats what some guy told me from the cougar forums when I asked about the matrix coilovers
