I wired an amp and sub this weekend. I bought the Rockford Fosgate amp wiring kit to install it. At first, I was miffed that I had to shell out $70 for it because it was the only one they had that fit my system (Best Buy). After getting out of the package and handling the wiring itself... this stuff is quality! The wiring is superb and the see through tube for the inline fuse is super cool (lets you see the fuse without taking it out).

It was a little more than I wanted to spend but I do endorse the fit and finish as well as the quality.

Sound very similar to a package I bought... clear fuse holder with 60 amp fuse, 8 ga. power and ground wire, pretty nice RCAs, 20 ft. 12 ga. speaker cable, remote wire, cable ties, split loom tubing, etc. All for only about $13, plus $8 or so shipping from a seller on eBay.

I was able to pick up 25 feet of 4 gauge wire (just like the stuff at Audio King) for 15 bucks. Wire is so over-priced at stores. =(

That's the one that I bought. Pretty damn good quality for the money. The only thing that was crappy were the cable ties which were brittle and just snapped when you bent them. But who cares about that? I used my own cable ties and the kit worked like a charm!

No offense but that kit is rather highly priced. I used to work at Best Buy and we got it for about $30 under employee discount. There goal is to get you to buy the inexpensive equipment then load you up on accessories.

Do you know what is really sad? I have access to the Best Buy employee pricing and have only used it on a very few things because their costs are so high, even the employees pay too much.

"The prices are just INSANE!!!!"

That comment probably only makes sense to those in the Northeast you know who Crazy Eddie is... oh well.

I'm from Detroit, born and raised. But I still know who he is, at least his company. I purchased my Denon receiver from there.
