Did you have the face plate up when you disconnected/reconnected the Unit. If so there should be a reset button on the front left side. You'll need a pen to get to it. When the unit is put back in, it will always reset and try to eject any CD that is in there. I have done this with my Sony too. If you leave the face plate up it cant eject the CD and then you will not be able to get it out. Try the reset button or reconnect it w/ the face off. You should get the CD to automaticlly come out and start working like it should. HTH
