yes you were on the right track. The only thing that has possibly changed is Home Depot doesn't carry the all thread bolts anymore (meaning the thread that goes all the way to the head) They have carriage style now,

Is that NHRA approved? I'd like to mount one between the seats. Making the mount connect the two headrests, but am concerned if it's otay with rulermakers.
