I took them out since I had wrecked them by putting in a higher wattage bulb and "bubbled" them out. For fear of doing even more damage, I stopped using them. When I saw the effect from my friend's track experience, it was not much of a loss to take them out.
My plan will be to take them off for everyday and then on the driver's side, run another tube from the opening up to the air intake. The only issue would be any water going through up the tube say like when it is raining?
Am I OK to do this or am I bound to get water into my filter? Anyone know?
