Sorry, but I'd have to say that I disagree. I don't believe that MTX's use of "dynamic" refers to peak power (the completely useless measure that bargain bin amps tote while clipping at insane levels of distortion). It refers to continuous/rms output at 14.4 volts.
Your method of comparing percentage increases in voltage input to increases in power output doesn't really work. I'm by no means an EE or anything, but I do know that there are a lot more forces at work here. For instance, it takes 10X the power to double the volume.

I got into MTX stuff a few years back when they had just finally started putting out quality stuff and were still charging bargain prices. They don't do that anymore.
