As far as the consumer version goes I think that is personal choice every parent (or just plain car owner) will have to make on their own.
What freaks me out is the fact GM (and others) have already been putting versions of this in cars. What the hell happened to the fifth ammendment. Course that is a hard sell when they have used it to put away a jerk going 114 mph who killed two people. But dang, before to long our cars will have just print out tickets as we speed - GAH!!! My dark, apocalyptic vision will come true!!!
