I am 18 years old. My gf is only 5 months younger than myself. This informartion will come inportant as i tell my opinion. I believe this device is a bit , that if we are driving so bad and parents now a days have so little faith in their own offspring whom they raised to be the way they are can't trust their children, its just awful. My parents do not need to know every move i make as long as they trust I am not partying and am home at a reasonable hour. Also we lived in Seattle for a year where the drivers were very careful and courteous, my dad loved it. My dad taught me to drive like that. now do i speed yes, do i know where my turn signals are yes (in iowa no one knows), can i drive in my own lane when a bike is along the side of the road yes, have i caused any s no. You as a parent are completely responsible for how your child turns out as a driver. If your child sucks chances are you suck. Children will their parents because as you guys have said my house my rules. Well set the right example and they will follow.

My gf parents are very strict and well now she s them and might even come down to legally disowning them. Did they teach her to drive no. Could she drive before i met her no, she was completely awful. So now they have a child who cant drive and s them because they dont trust her. She can now drive having met me and my father who are sticklers for good driving.

This device is just going to cause distrust between the paretns and children and thats just not a good thing at all. It causes the family to have major issues as i am very much in the midst of some of hers.
