I think red light cameras are good. I got a ticket in Norfolk, VA for running a red light. The light was orange when I started through but when I was over half way through the light turned red. I didn't have time to go to court because of work but the officer was wrong to write me a ticket. The light was orange when I started through the intersection.
In Norfolk, VA a lot of the drivers watch the other light and when it turns orange they proceed through the red light. A red light camera would catch those drivers.
