I ordered a superchip for my 99 SVT. When I gave my calibration code he said that "most likly you will have to modfie your computer". He said to wait till I get the chip and then plug it in to see if the car starts. If the car dosent start I will need to solder 2 jumpers in my ecu. So I waited and got the chip and no surprise my car didnt start. I e-mailed superchips to get the diagram. When I opened up my computer it didnt look any thing like the diagram they sent me. So i'm a little po'ed. And I'm waiting for superchips to get back to me. But I wanted to know if any one else has had this problem and how it went for you.

If you have a late 99 with a code such as MNQ2, MNQ3, a pair of small jumpers will have to be soldered to the circuit board to allow the chip to work with the PATS security.

Another thing with those superchips is you have to get all of the contacts completely cleaned. I've read posts from tons of people since i got on this site that had problems with their chips simply because they didn't clean them enough when they got em.
