Don't laugh but I bought the sub and box they are selling on PartsExpress for $50 down from $150. It is a 10" Ultimate sub in a nicely constructed ported box. I also bought an MTX Blue Thunder PRO50X2 ($99) and screwed that onto the back of it, wired it up to my Pioneer DEH-P7000R, and man it sounds SCHWEET! AAAAHHHHH!!! Get that amp off the sub box! The vibrations will eventually tear apart the internals of the amp, and you'll find yourself paying for a new one.
Ok, so it's not
that bad, but you really should mount it somewhere other than on the box, and if you can give it a little suspension (foam rubber underneath), all the better.
