When the kids were small my wife and I started to keep a checkoff list of license plates. The rules were simple:
-Try to find all 51 plates between Memorial Day and Labor Day. (Maine IS supposed to be "Vacationland" according to our plates.) -We have to be in Maine when we see them or they don't count.
In the last several years we've seen them all each year. The most illusive ones are from North and South Dakota. Washington, Oregon Idaho, Alaska and Hawaii , and even Arizona and New Mexico are all pretty easy.
We finished this year with Kansas last weekend...a week late.
