I just got my chip and installed it today. I haven't done any runs yet but I did test my top speed and it didn't change. My car pulls real hard than hits 105 and jerks back. Should I see if my times are better before I panic or what. Any suggestions?

speedo may be off, and the superchip doesn't always remove the limiter. stock you should hit 112, but what the speedo indicates can be a different story.

there's a hint for you
2003 Subaru WRX some mods
Even if you don't have the answer, you certainly have to admire the problem.

I didn't notice any speed improvement since I installed the Superchip. Generally, as Kremit once put it, our cars will always be slow no matter how many mods we add on 'em

yeah they will (until turbooooooo), but I did notice a good performance increase from my chip, mainly better shift points and better shifts. The small power it adds from advancing the timing (why you use premium gas with a chip) isn't really noticeable. Also my speed limiter is removed, but I only know this from when I had my stock wheels on... weight/different size from 17"s will stop you from knowing your true top speed.

It sounds like you still have your speed limiter. Steve with his 99 SE with his Superchip still has his speed limiter. When I had my Superchip I got mine up to 140 (more around 130-135). That is with some mods.
