yeah the porshe boxster is a total babe magnet but not as much power as you would think. i dont know about the boxster s but i had a friend let my brother and i borrow her 1999 boxster this weekend and i wasnt that impressed by the horsepower in it. my brother came home after a drive and said he toasted a svt mustang late 90's to maybe 2001 model. i said no f'in way and called a friend with a bone stock 1997 svt cobra less horse than a 2000 and raced on hwy 78 here in atlanta,ga and he wasted me, and i am alot better driver than my brother. it got me alot of looks and stares from the ladies and alot of hater stares from the guys but thats all i think the porshe is good for is looks, cause it surely lacked in the power department. sounds weird but i take my svt contour over that porshe anyday of the week. mine almost took the boxster i had better acceleration from 3-5 gears but in cornering he wasted me, and of course 1-3 was all tourque but after that my brother ate my dust from the csvt. just my thought on the porshe.
