Ok this has probably already been asked, but which y-pipe do you all recommend? the Sho-shop Off Road Y-pipe(which doesn't have cat,and is illegal) or the Sp Motorsports/Bat one that has the high flow cat?
Also? Aluminized Steel or Stainless Steel?

i believe the one on sp motorsports is also sho shop. i have the offroad one and honestly dont feel that much of a gain. im pretty sure it is because the precats are in the headers and thats what hurts flow the most. if i were you i would just save for MSDS headers that come with a a hi flow y-pipe.

They will both give you about the same amount of power, with the SHO shop maybe having 1 or 2 more. I have the BAT myself. Decent quality, pretty good power gain. But, I did have to have a shop bend it just a little to get it to fit properly.

I would but it wouldn't pass inspection cuz pa ia passing a knew law about exhaust has to be stock. So with the offroad y-pipe with a cat on it would look stock and im replacing the resonator with a glasspack so it resmbles a resonator and im upgrading from 21/4 to 21/2 exhaust pipe.
Thanx for the info.....

I got the bat on mine: had no fitment issues and got noticeable gains out of it. I don't think there's much of a difference overall between the different y-pipes out there but I wouldn't buy ANYTHING from ShoShop.

Modifying the stock Y-pipe by cutting out the crush flange and replacing it with a 2.5" one is the best Y-pipe setup.

Sorry if this is a hijack but why do people dislike shoshop so much? I have an intake from them and have been very happy with it and they were pretty helpful/friendly when I talked to them. Hmmmmmmm
