Thanks, unfortunately this is too high priced for me!
$85 + $35 shipping = $120 (plus tax if they are based in CA)

I paid $90 for my 34/75 from PepBoys...now if I could just get the terminal and the plate to match up!

Hmmm...I could have sworn that I remember reading a post with somebody using the 34R and having clearance issue...maybe there is more room in a non-Duratec engine bay?

Anyway, I haven't been able to locate a 34R at any of my local stores.

Speed Demons gave me the idea of bending the plate to fit the battery (as he did). This seems like it would work; I could actually bend the entire plate into one flat piece and then mount it on the optional side terminals (see image 3).

However, I tried bending the plate (in one hand I had some vice grips, and the other hand I had pliers), but that plate seemed to be pretty rigid. I could try and give it more force, but I don't want to break the plate or anything...maybe a rubber mallet or hammer strike at the 90deg elbow of the plate would work??? Man...I hope I don't screw this up!

this is my instal of my 34R
i just bent and trimmed the metal plates to fit.
all i used was a pair of pliers and a dremel.
i also heated up the plastic protective cover and reformed it to fit.
