Spiders lay their eggs in the early spring, so you don't have any worries for now.
I should know cause they lay their eggs in my attic, and every spring,
I get the SH*T chewed out of me while I'm sleeping.
I see the babies hanging around on my ceilings, since they come through
the holes that the ceiling fans and utility boxes are mounted on.
Nasty buggers...

They are probably looking for a way to keep warm and a place to hibernate...
