I understand completely. I got the same runaround with all my cars when I was your age.
In fact, I went to 3 different ford dealers to get something fixed and it took the 3rd dealer, the one that I actually bought it at to say that there was something wrong and it needed to be fixed right away!!!!!!! Duh, they just think kids are stupid and don't know anybetter I guess...
Fortunately, the dealer I use now gives excellent service.
Best bet is to get someone to go with who's older, or have a parent take it in insead of yourself, usually that get something resolved a lot quicker. That or have someone go tear them a new one and stand there and laugh all the while.
Very sorry to hear about your dad's situation. Hope he heals up quickly.
